2014 Nest Relocation Video
After watching a pair of bald eagles nesting in an active high-voltage transmission tower, John Bunker Sands Wetland Center decided to act to protect the birds. They teamed up with Oncor Electric Company, who collaborated closely with the US Fish & Wildlife Service to obtain the necessary permits and permission to move the eagle's nest to a safer location.
